Hunting Licenses

Montana now offers a guaranteed hunting license if you book with an Outfitter.  We will send you the license application as well as our Outfitter Certification form when you confirm a hunt with us.   The License application deadline is March 15th, however we ask that you have the completed application back to us by March 1 to avoid the possibility of mistakes lost in the mail or various other unplanned circumstances.

Elk & Deer -  $1500.00

Elk Only  - $1400.00

Deer Only  - $1100.00

All of the above licenses include Upland Game Bird, Fish and Conservation

MOUNTAIN LION AND BLACK BEAR

These licenses are not a drawing but applications need to be postmarked by the following deadline.  We can provide you with the application and instructions upon request.

MOUNTAIN LION - $320.00

Trophy fee upon kill - $50.00

Application deadline is August 31

BLACK BEAR - $350.00

Application deadline for Spring Bear Hunting is April 14

Application deadline for Fall Bear Hunting is August 31.

FISHING LICENSE

For ages 15 and older a Conservation License ($9.25) and a Montana Fishing License ($15.00 for 2 consecutive days, $43.50 for 10 consecutive days or $60.00 for the entire season) are required.

Ages 1 - 14 do not require a license if accompanied by an adult who holds a valid Montana Fishing license.  The combined daily and possession limit for the two (or more) anglers cannot exceed the legal limit for one licensed angler.  To catch his or her own legal limit, the youth must purchase a fishing license.

You may purchase these fishing licenses over the counter upon arrival for your fishing safari.
