Each hunter is paired with his own mountain horse, while strong mules carry the gear. We and our professional guides encourage safe and responsible hunting practices. Upon receiving your reservation we promise an all out effort to be sure that your upcoming hunt is a success
We will forward applications that guarantee you a license and personally deliver your forms to the FWP office. License deadline is March 15. Along with your license information we will provide you with a packing list, travel ideas and hotel suggestions for both prior to and after your hunt. All trips are all inclusive and all you need is your personal clothing, rifle, and of course your license
We do all the meat packing and caping in the field after your success and will take the meat to a processor which costs you about $50.00 for deer and $130.00 for elk. Also we can suggest a couple of local taxidermist that do great work and know the animals of the area. We also offer courtesty transportation to and from the Great Falls Airport at no charge. (you may wish to tip the driver at your discretion)
Trademarked as one of Montana's most authentic adventures, our hunting safaris will take you into the untamed Bob Marshall Wilderness in search of trophy elk, deer or bear. Native Montanans, Rocky and Lorell Heckman are eager to share knowledge of the area and its wildlife. Hunts are conducted with two hunters per guide, but one on one hunts are available upon request.
