Heckman family

Our oldest daughter Amanda and her husband Jake live in Spokane Washington. with their three kids. Ryder - 5; Dally - 3 & Hazen - 1. They are expecting their fourth child a little girl in June. We wish they were closer to home but we are still able to see them quite frequently as the drive is only 6 hours. Amanda is a teacher by trade but enjoys her new job of stay at home Mom and is home schooling the two older kids. She is amazing at what she does and the two older kids are already reading. Jake is a wonderful father and husband and we couldn't have asked for a better son-in-law.

Our son, Colter, is 25 years old. He is a certified farrier and a professional bronc rider. He attended Montana State University majoring in construction engineering and hopes to graduate soon. He is currently working on a construction site adding to his college fund and learning the trade hands off. Colter loves to play his guitar, snow ski, hunt. Growing up as our number one fishing guide he now guides for us during our hunting season and has taken over one of our hunting camps. He looks forward to becoming more involved in the business as time goes on.

And of course our youngest daughter Hanna. She is 16 years old and a Sophomore. She is active in Volleyball and Cheerleading in her school but her real love comes in Rodeo. She is a member of the Montana High School Rodeo Association competing in Barrels, Poles, Goat Tying, Breakaway Roping & Team Roping. She has won many buckles and several All Around Champion titles and Saddles. She competed and won the title for the MHSRA Queen this past June and traveled to Nationals in Farmington, NM to compete against 46 other girls from America, Canada and Australia. She ended up 2nd Runner Up. We were very proud of her.

Raising our family in the outfitting business has been a great way of life. Our kids have been involved in the business from cooking to packing, from guiding to entertaining.
